SAP and Lockheed Martin have collaborated to provide a comprehensive RFID and UID compliance solution based on SAP RFID technology and Lockheed Martin's I-GUIDES application. This solution is designed to satisfy customer needs and redefine total asset visibility. In this webinar, SAP will discuss this UID- and RFID-enabled offering, as well as current and future capabilities, success stories and a roadmap.
With over 350+ customers in over 18 industries, including many in aerospace and defense, SAP is charting a course to strategically integrate serialization information into many of the core business processes supported by the mySAP Business Suite. Steve Banker of the ARC Advisory Group has characterized this approach as "a solid enterprise infrastructure for RFID that will allow for the practical usage of RFID data across more processes and applications than many of the point solutions on the market." Banker noted that, "As companies discover and pursue RFID-related programs which are oriented toward business improvements, they will need to build an RFID infrastructure that can be used across their business."
