As SVP Marketing for the SAP Business Objects portfolio, Jonathan Becher is responsible for championing a wide range of solutions that help organizations optimize their business performance, including business intelligence (BI), enterprise performance management (EPM) and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Becher joins SAP from its acquisition of Pilot Software (now SAP Strategy Management) where he was President and CEO. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, an active member of the performance management community, and author of multiple papers on a wide range of subjects, including a popular performance management blog (http://alignment.wordpress.com). Prior to Pilot Software, Becher was CEO and president of Accrue Software, the leading Web site analytics company; and president, CEO and co-founder of NeoVista Software, a pioneer in the predictive analytics and data mining markets. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of senior roles at MasPar Computer Corporation. Becher completed his Master of Science degree in computer science from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Virginia.

Hartmut Schaper is responsible for the development of SAP's current and future master data management products as well as the company wide orchestration of all master data management programs. Prior to this, Schaper was senior vice president of Installed Base Maintenance and Support (IMS) responsible for the maintenance and development support of all SAP Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver products generally available.
Before rejoining SAP in 2006, Schaper was CTO and executive board member for R&D and support for four years at IXOS and, after IXOS was taken over, SVP for R&D at Open Text. Beforehand he worked as a manager for the Boston Consulting Group where he lead several high impact strategy and post merger integration projects for various industries.
Between 1991 and 1999, Schaper held various technical management positions at SAP including the porting of R/3 to different databases and the first business framework initiative to open up R/3 for partners and customers through open interfaces (BAPIs, ALE....). He was also involved in building the first Internet applications for SAP.
Schaper holds an MSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick (UK).
