SAP Local Partnership Program

SAP Canada employees are active volunteers in their local communities. In 2010, more than 54% of SAP Canada employees participated in company-sponsored volunteer events across the country, donating more than 4,500 volunteer hours (over 560 work days) to communities in need. SAP Canada has participated in the following types of community projects:

  • National food bank and food drive projects – sorting and collecting over 950,615 lbs. of foodstuffs
  • Renovation and beautification projects in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal
  • Junior Achievement program delivery to over 3,440 students across the country
  • Environmental clean-up programs in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal
  • More than 3,430 meals served in our ongoing Home for Dinner projects with the families and patrons of Ronald McDonald House

Month of Service

SAP Month of Service – held each October – celebrates employee commitment to year-round civic action in more than 40 cities across North and South America. Community service is just one way that SAP promotes community transformation, team building, and leadership development.
