  • As product profit margins continue to shrink, companies must constantly weigh the benefits of maintaining internal manufacturing assets versus shifting some or all of their production to contract manufacturers.  Most companies must manage a combination of internal and external manufacturing sites, as well as support different manufacturing methods and processes for different technologies and products.

SAP’s solutions offer fully integrated real time analytics and integration with third party shop floor systems.    These solutions provide unique shop floor to enterprise interoperability to collaborate and improve response to customer demand. To manage the dispersed supply chain, SAP offers supplier collaboration solutions to provide multi-tier visibility and supply chain orchestration processes. Manufacturing processes also include the management of inventory, all quality control processes and maintenance of manufacturing and equipment.
