Partner Opportunities Program production involves extensive collaboration between highly specialized employees with high information requirements, working on programs and productions that change from day to day. With the SAP production management solution a large number of documents is being managed, classified and made available in a central collaborative environment. Costs and resource requirements for each production order are planned and matched with the available capacity. In parallel to the cost view a price view can be maintained with which the production is offered and eventually settled to the ordering channel or program editor. Order Management can be integrated with specialized workforce management and resource deployment applications. Procurement execution and a unified central vendor management with complete vendor history allow to always find the best suitable external provider for specific services. Business Processes |
Production Planning![]() |
A scheduled broadcast date already exists for the production; this means that production takes place for a concrete publication time slot and draws on the budget planned for this slot. The process chain starts with a program brief from the editorial department, to which the production department(s) respond with one or more program proposals, including the corresponding program cost accounting. The approval gateways are controlled effectively by means of workflow processes. When the proposal to be implemented is approved and released as a program order, the acquisition processes and resource allocation are triggered automatically. |
