Karen Nielsen
Chief Executive Officer, Nordic & Baltics
Karen Nielsen`s goal is to maintain SAP’s position as the leading of the region through increased customer and industry focus.
As head of all activities in the Nordics and the Baltic states in a regional organisation with 520 employees, Karen has fine-tuned the strategy and at the same time adjusted the internal organization in order to meet local needs and use best methods for the benefit of of SAP`s customers.
Karen`s role is to ensure positioning of SAP solutions in Nordic companies – both existing and new customers - and she has a broad knowledge of both private and public companies in the Nordics.
Previously, Karen was with IBM for almost 27 years. She built up considerable international management experience within sales, enterprise resource planning services, outsourcing and company acquisitions. When IBM acquired the SAP consultancy company MAS, she became the CEO of the company. Karen also undertook a key position during IBM`s acquisition of Maersk Data, and was subsequently responsible for sales and delivery to A.P. Moeller Maersk. In her different positions at IBM, Karen has driven various change management projects, including development of the transition from product sales to solution sales. Furthermore, she has also worked within banking and insurance in Germany.
Besides her business responsibility, Karen played a major roll in the management of IBM, where she was chairman of IBM Women`s Leadership Council and she also acted as mentor for many manager talents.
Karen holds a master`s degree in strategic management and marketing.
Jørgen Bo Johansen
Nordic Chief Financial Officer
Jørgen Bo Johansen joined SAP in 2001 as Nordic CFO and a member of the Nordic Executive Leadership Team.
He plays an instrumental role in supporting local managers with the modernization and development of a regional infrastructure within financial services. Jørgen Bo is responsible for finance and administration, risk management and legal issues.
Prior to joining SAP, Jørgen Bo spent 11 years in the FLS Group, a global engineering and construction company. He served the last six years as CFO and VP of FLSmidth Fuller Engineering, which includes 80 corporations, a turnover of DKK 8 billion and a staff of 4,000 employees. As well as being CFO and VP, Jørgen Bo also held a number of board positions in many of the companies owned by the FLS Group.
Jørgen Bo Johansen holds a master’s degree in finance & business administration.
Maj Britt Andersen
Nordic HR Director
Maj Britt Andersen is Nordic HR Director within the SAP Group. In this position, she won the prestigious title of "Best Danish HR manager in 2005" awarded to her by PID (the Danish HR Managers‘ Association) for her work to transform HR into a true partner to the business.
Maj Britt has been a member of the SAP Nordic Executive Leadership Team since 2004 and is responsible for strategy planning, organizational development and alignment, as well as all talent and performance management processes. She is also a member of the EMEA HR Executive Team and acts as VP HR Business Partner for HR & Finance & Administration in EMEA.
Before becoming Nordic HR Director, Maj Britt served as HR Director within the Danish SAP organization. She joined SAP in 2003, after working as a Business Consultant for seven years in Accenture – one of SAP’s global partners.
Maj Britt Andersen holds master's degrees in international business and management & organizational behavior.
Magnus Bergqvist
Director of Field Services, Nordic & Baltic region
Magnus is responsible for Field Services, heading SAP Consulting and Education in the Nordic and Baltic region. Magnus is a member of the Nordic Executive Leadership Team and member of the EMEA Services Management Team.
Magnus joined SAP in 2002 and previous to his current position he had the responsibility for Field Services Sweden, with a background in Consulting. In his previous role Magnus has been responsible for major SAP programs working in collaboration with key customers to achieve mutual success. Previous to SAP Magnus worked at Cambridge Technology Partners and Siemens Nixdorf.
Magnus conducted his university Studies at Stockholm School of Economics and Uppsala University.
Dan Ahlstedt
Chief Operating Officer, Nordic & Baltics
Dan Ahlstedt joined SAP in 2003 and is today the Nordic COO.
Dan is responsible for ensuring that the SAP Nordic and Baltic organization helps customers to become best run businesses. Tasks involve solution management, sales operations, maintenance sales, value engineering, alliance management and marketing. Dan is a member of the Board of SAP Finland Oy, SAP Labs Finland Oy and Merlin Systems Oy.
Previously, Dan drove the midmarket activities and actions throughout the Nordic and Baltic region. He has also served as Managing Director of SAP Finland.
Dan is named as one of the leading influencers in the Finnish ICT markets by Tietoviikko, ComputerWorld Finland, the leading Finnish weekly ICT newspaper. Tietoviikko conducts the survey annually among the Finnish CIOs.
He has 15 years’ work experience within ICT distribution mainly at TechData Corporation, where he held numerous position including VP & GM TechData US, VP Marketing EMEA, Managing Director for Tech Data International SARL, and Managing Director for the region of Finland, Baltics and Russia.
Dan Ahlstedt holds a master’s degree in marketing.
Peter Ditlev
SME Director, Nordic & Baltic
Peter Peter Ditlev is heading SAP’s focus on small and midsize enterprises and partners in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
For 23 years Peter has worked in the ERP business both with ERP sales and partners i.e. in companies like Multi-Inform and Damgaard A/S. After the Damgaard/Navision merger Peter was appointed sales director for Navision Danmark A/S and was responsible for building up the Dynamics Partner Channel. This succeed to the extent that the Dynamics Partner Channel obtained the dominating position on the Danish market. In 2002 Microsoft bought Navision, and Peter continued as Partner Group Manager for Dynamics and was responsible for the ERP Partner Channel.
Peter began his career at in 2007 as Nordic Channel Director with the responsibility to build up the Nordic and Baltic Partner Channel. In 2009 Peter took over the strategic responsibility for SAP`s small and midsize customers and partners.
