SAP University Alliances Program Asia Pacific Japan

Career-ready as well as business and IT-savvy graduates are fundamental for competitiveness and success in today’s global business environment. With the accelerating need to innovate in business, industry experts foresee a skills shortage in the coming decade. SAP, the world’s largest business applications software company, supports education around the world in many ways as part of its corporate social responsibility and ensures a constant pipeline of skilled workforce. Through the use of its business software suite in more than 30 countries, it provides educational institutes with career-impacting curricula in disciplines such as business, IT, computer science and engineering.

In the Asia Pacific Japan region

The SAP University Alliances Program is re-launched in the region with a University Competency Center (UCC) for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) in January 2008 at The Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia.

The program is currently established in Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand. It also supports the offering of SAP Certification workshop like the Best Practices in ERP (BPERP) on member campuses for their students who are keen to become qualified professionals with industry certification.
