Tim Ebbeck

Tim Ebbeck
President and Chief Executive Officer, SAP Australia & New Zealand, appointed January 2008

Tim joined SAP in 2003 as Chief Financial and Commercial Officer for ANZ; in 2005 his role was expanded to Chief Operating Officer for ANZ.

In January 2007, Tim was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for SAP across Asia Pacific and Japan. In this role, Tim led the regional deal crafting and commercial development team, and lead strategic planning and execution.

Tim has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. He joined SAP from TMP Worldwide where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that Tim was CFO for Compaq Computer and Investment Director at Compaq's Venture Capital Fund. Tim has also held senior executive roles at Unisys, Tandem Computers, and GEC ALSTHOM Australia Limited.


Ian Black

Ian Black
Managing Director, New Zealand

Ian Black, based in Auckland, is responsible for growing the sales operation in New Zealand. Ian has been with SAP for nine years, during his time he has been responsible for the development of a number of business areas, including starting and running SAP New Zealand in 1994 and developing a very successful Financial Services division for SAP Australia.

Ian spent a year as Northern Region Manager for Vignette Corporation in Australia in 2000 before returning to SAP as Managing Director for SAP Philippines and Indo China in early 2001. Ian took over responsibility for SAP New Zealand in May 2003.


Therese McGrath

Therese McGrath
Chief Operating Officer, SAP Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)

Therese McGrath oversees the operational and financial activities of the SAP business regionally. Her role covers core sales operations, business processes, finance, legal and contracts, and channel partner management.

She also plays a lead role in contract negotiations and deal structuring. Therese joined SAP in 2007. Therese has had an extensive international career, having held senior positions with Diageo, The Thomson Corporation and more recently Microsoft.


Allan Fairhurst

General Manager, Enterprise

Based in Melbourne, Allan Fairhurst leads the business of SAP enterprise sales.

Prior to joining SAP in 2004, Allan held a variety of senior management positions in Australia, Singapore and Canada.

With significant industry experience, he leads our teams across industries and borders, strengthening SAP's capabilities in the Australian market.


Bruce McKinnon

Bruce McKinnon
Director, Field Services, SAP Australia and New Zealand

Bruce is responsible for delivering consulting and education services, helping SAP customers maximise the value of their investment through their implementation, SAP training, change management and skills transfer. Joining SAP from IBM in 2007, Bruce has been working within the SAP ecosystem since 1991 and was previously a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).


Jo-anne Quirk

Vice President People & Human Resources Strategy

Jo-anne Quirk is Human Resources Director for ANZ. Prior to joining SAP, Jo-anne held positions at Unisys and American Express, and also spent time running a human resources consultancy. She is responsible for driving all Human Resources initiatives, with a particular focus on building a high performance culture, and developing employee programs in key areas such as training, succession planning and employee development. As part of the ANZ executive team, Jo-anne ensures the Human Resources function is closely aligned with the strategic objectives of the company.


Mark Hettler

Mark Hettler,
Director of Active Global Support, SAP Australia and New Zealand

Mark is responsible for SAP‘s support and maintenance business, which services customers and their SAP products in the ANZ region. This role includes the additional responsibility of both SAP‘s proactive support service and the company‘s premium maintenance activities, including supporting customers during software upgrades.

Mark and his team of 48 work closely with customers to improve the efficiency and stability of their SAP environments, which benefits customers by helping them leverage and maximise their investments in SAP systems.

Mark first joined SAP in 2006 as Active Global Performance Centre of Expertise (CoE) Manager. Prior to joining SAP, he worked with IBM Global Business Services for over eight years.

Mark has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years and has previously worked in global and national institutions such as BHP Billiton, Lend Lease and the Australian Taxation Office.

Robert Pedler

Robert Pedler,
General Manager Queensland

Robert Pedler is responsible for SAP sales operations in Queensland and the Northern Territory and global lead for SAP‘s relationship with Rio Tinto. Robert also has a strong responsibility for SAP‘s business in the Queensland Government.

Robert joined SAP in April 2000 from Unisys Australia, where he was the General Manager - Public Sector. He has also held roles with Telstra, including Government Account Director for Queensland State.

Robert brings 28 years experience in the ICT industry to AIIA‘s Queensland Committee, where he sits as a member of the State Purchasing Council representing the ICT Work Group. The ICT Work Group focuses on creating a channel of communication between ICT Industry Associations and the Queensland Government.

Mike Robinson

Mike Robinson,
General Manager, Southern Region

Mike is responsible for SAP sales and solution architects in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, as well as the ongoing support of the region‘s existing accounts. His key goal is to assist customers to maximise the value of their SAP investments and grow SAP‘s Southern Region business.

Having joined SAP as an Account Executive in 1995, Mike contributed to SAP‘s tremendous growth before departing in 2001. Mike rejoined SAP in 2005. Prior to rejoining SAP, Mike held senior positions at Tibco, KPMG Consulting and Bearing Point.

One of Mike‘s career highlights includes proposing SAP‘s carbon footprint solution as a global initiative, which has been a strong personal career focus in recent years and is now an SAP solution. Mike has a Degree in Computer Science from RMIT University.

Executive Board

The Executive Board is the governing body of SAP. Subject to the requirements of stock corporation law, the Executive Board is committed to SAP's interests and bound by SAP company policy.
