  • Andrew Barkla

    President and Managing Director
    SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Andrew Barkla

    Andrew Barkla is President and Managing Director of SAP Australia and New Zealand. In his role, Barkla is responsible for all business operations of SAP in Australia and New Zealand, including driving customer success through the SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA. He joined SAP in July 2012 from Unisys, where he was Regional Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific and Japan, responsible for the strategy and performance of the Unisys business across 13 countries.

    Barkla brings to the position 20 years of local and international business experience. Prior to Unisys, Barkla was Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific at PeopleSoft, where he developed a successful go-to-market and growth strategy. Previous to this, he was Managing Director for System Software Associates (SSA) in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Greg Miller

    Vice President and General Manager, Global Partner Operations SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Greg Miller

    Greg Miller is Vice President and General Manager of Global Partner Operations at SAP Australia and New Zealand. In his role Miller is responsible for accelerating the company’s growth through new and existing sales channels, particularly for SAP’s cloud and in-memory data base platform, SAP HANA. The GPO organization also manages the SAP Business One application set for small businesses, SAP’s OEM business, and other strategic partnerships.

    Miller has more than 20 years of local and international experience in sales and business operations. He was responsible for the successful launch of the Unisys Sales Centre of Excellence, a first of its kind globally which supported a $700M business. Prior to Unisys, Miller held senior sales positions with Peoplesoft, Seibel and Oracle.

    Miller has a strong interest in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and is the executive sponsor for SAP ANZ’s CSR program with partner organisations The Australia Indigenous Education Foundation and The Smith Family.

  • Richard McLean

    Chief Financial Officer
    SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Richard McLean

    Richard McLean is the Chief Financial Officer of SAP Australia and New Zealand, leading a team of approximately 40 staff across core finance, legal and contracts, facilities, purchasing and information technology. He has been with SAP since May 2008.

    Prior to joining SAP, McLean held a number of senior finance positions in the APJ IT sector – Initially with Peoplesoft and more recently at Microsoft. He spent the first 12 years of his career in the UK in Investment Banking (Merrill Lynch) and the Automotive Industry (Unipart), before relocating to Australia in 2003.

  • Paul Muller

    General Manager, Platform Solutions
    SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Graeme Riley

    Paul Muller is General Manager, Platform Solutions, SAP Australia and New Zealand. In his role, he is responsible for the local adoption of SAP’s in-memory platform, SAP HANA as well as the company’s extensive analytics and mobile offerings. Paul joined SAP Australia and New Zealand in January 2014 from the SAP APJ regional team, where he was Vice President for Database & Technology, Ecosystem & Channels. His portfolio includes SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud which provisioned on local data centres enabling organisations across Australia to move their entire business to the cloud.

    Paul brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the IT field in several managing director and sales leadership positions in Australia and across Asia Pacific and Japan, including Oracle, Siebel, McAfee and SolNet Solutions.

  • Tony Armfield

    General Manager, Cloud & Line of Business Solutions
    SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Graeme Riley

    Tony Armfield was appointed General Manager, Cloud & Line of Business Solutions, SAP Australia and New Zealand in January 2014. He is responsible for SAP’s deep portfolio of both cloud and line of business on-premise solutions, including those from Ariba and SuccessFactors. Armfield’s portfolio includes SAP Cloud for Customer, SAP Cloud for HR and SAP Cloud for Procurement.

    Armfield brings more than 30 years’ international experience in the business-software and digital-media industries. He joined SAP Australia and New Zealand in June 2013 as area vice president for SuccessFactors. Prior to joining SAP ANZ, Armfield held senior executive positions at salesforce.com, CA Pacific and SAP UK.

  • Mark Hettler

    Director, Active Global Support

    Mark Hettler

    Mark Hettler is Director, Active Global Support, SAP Australia and New Zealand. He is responsible for SAP’s support and maintenance business, which services customers and their SAP products in the ANZ region. This role includes the responsibility of both SAP‘s proactive support service and the company’s premium maintenance activities, including supporting customers during software upgrades.

    Hettler has been with SAP since 2006. Prior to joining SAP, he worked with IBM Global Business Services for more than eight years. He has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years and has held roles in global and national institutions such as BHP Billiton, Lend Lease and the Australian Taxation Office.

    Lisa Christy

    Lisa Christy is Director of Human Resources, SAP Australia and New Zealand. She is responsible for supporting SAP's business and enabling the success of the organisation through its people. This involves recruiting and retaining top talent, developing and leading employee engagement and building leadership readiness through career development plans.

    Christy has more than 20 years of professional HR experience, working mainly in the IT industry. In her most recent appointment, as Senior HR Manager, Microsoft Australia, she focused on developing leadership capabilities and management excellence. Prior to this Christy was Senior HR Director at Gartner Asia Pacific, managing the HR strategy and operations across 12 countries and was HRBP and Compensation & Benefits manager for five years at Oracle.

  • Ray Kloss

    Head of Marketing

    Ray Kloss

    Ray Kloss is the Head of Marketing for SAP Australia and New Zealand. He joined SAP in June 2005 after many years’ experience on large software projects in roles including sales, marketing and delivery across North America and the Asia Pacific. Kloss is responsible for the company’s brand investments, pipeline development and customer engagement.

    With 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, Ray has been influencing the purchasing preferences of thousands of B2B customers across channels, industries and geographies with SAP, PeopleSoft, HP and IBM. Ray has a leadership role in multiple global Marketing transformation projects, led by his focus on Design Thinking toward customer-centric solutions.

    Before coming to SAP, Kloss was responsible for Product and Industry Marketing for PeopleSoft APJ. Prior to this he held multiple roles at Hewlett Packard, including marketing manager for online services, business development for HP’s ANZ SAP practice and sales director of HP’s Asia Pacific E-services Division. In his earlier career Kloss worked with HR, Payroll and CRM at Lend Lease, ERP Channels at IBM and ERP implementation at General Motors.

    Graeme Riley

    Graeme Riley is Managing Director of SAP New Zealand. In his role, Riley is responsible for all the business operations of SAP in New Zealand. He joined SAP in January 2009 from Infor, where he was Vice President, Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.

    In his previous role, Riley was responsible for Infor's strategic solutions and channels businesses across the region. Riley has extensive enterprise software experience, a successful track record in leading software businesses throughout Asia Pacific and deep knowledge of the New Zealand market.

  • Tim Sleep

    General Manager, NSW

    Graeme Riley

    Tim Sleep was appointed General Manager for the New South Wales branch of SAP Australia and New Zealand in February 2012. In his role, he leads the SAP business across NSW and heads up SAP’s Sydney office. He works closely with customers, connecting SAP’s innovations with their challenges. Sleep joined SAP in early 2010 as sales director, managing SAP’s strategic accounts group across Australia.

    Throughout his career, Sleep has worked and lived in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia in a variety of business development, general management and consulting capacities. Prior to joining SAP, Sleep worked for seven years at Thomson Reuters. His roles included head of strategy, European sales director and general manager, ANZ. Sleep also spent seven years at Ernst & Young, in both sales and sector leadership roles.

    General Manager, Southern Region

    Graeme Riley

    Justin Williams was appointed General Manager for the Southern Region of SAP Australia and New Zealand in October 2012, leading SAP’s business in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.

    Williams joined SAP from HP, where, as Industry Sales Director - Enterprise Services, he headed up the enterprise services sales teams in the Communications, Media & Entertainment and Commercial industries in Australia. Prior to HP, Williams spent eight years at Unisys in a number of customer-centric services and sales leadership roles, and was formerly the Asia Pacific Director of Global Services for Thomas Cook-Travelex.

  • Kirsty Garret

    General Manager, Queensland

    Graeme Riley

    Kirsty Garrett is the General Manager, Queensland, SAP Australia and New Zealand. She joined the SAP Queensland team in 2011 after building a successful management consulting firm in 2006.

    Garrett has held the roles of Client Executive for Healthcare and Local Government for Fujitsu and Vice President, Global Marketing, at Mincom (now Ventyx), responsible for international marketing communications and product marketing in Australia, the United States, Latin America and South Africa.  She also held a regional sales management role for Mincom. Garrett began her career at HP working in Brisbane and Singapore over a period of five years.

    General Manager, Federal and Defence

    Graeme Riley

    Damien Bueno was appointed General Manager for Federal and Defence, SAP Australia and New Zealand, in 2013. Based in Canberra, Bueno leads the SAP Business with the Australian Federal Government and Defence. He joined SAP six years earlier as Account Director for Federal Government. During this time he was foundational in building SAP’s strategic leadership position in the Public Sector and became one of the most successful sales executives in the APJ region.

    Prior to joining SAP, Damien led Public Sector at IBM and was Managing Director for Hyperion.

  • Nicole O’Connor

    General Manager, Western Australia
    SAP Australia and New Zealand

    Graeme Riley

    Nicole O’Connor is General Manager for Western Australia, SAP Australia and New Zealand. She joined SAP in March 2013 as part of a transformation initiative to innovate with customers and partners toward the specific needs of originations in Western Australia.

    O’Connor joined SAP from Western Power. As Access Solutions Manager, O’Connor played a key role in Western Power’s strategy to drive a more commercial and customer-focussed engagement with all participants in the Wholesale Energy Market (WEM).

    Prior to Western Power, O’Connor spent almost ten years with IBM, growing IBM’s presence and portfolio in a broad range of corporate WA customers before moving into a regional sales management role for Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territories.  She spent her final year managing IBM’s relationship with BHP in Western Australia.
