    • In this demo, you’ll see how SAP Intelligence Analysis for Public Sector can support your investigations by allowing you to

    • Let’s say I’m an intelligence officer at an organization that uses SAP Intelligence Analysis for Public Sector in criminal investigations.
    • The first screen I see when I log into the application is the main dashboard.
    • In the middle of the screen is a list of active investigations, which I can access at any time.
    • Across the top of the screen are icons I can use to access native applications in the solution.
    • These applications provide different mechanisms through which I can analyze and understand data.
    • The five native applications include the browser, graph, map, object explorer, and data sources.
    • On the left side of the screen, I can see the dashboard helper, which has a variety of user-defined search feeds that are updated in real time.
    • I can access information in structured and unstructured formats.
    • Now, I want to search for data that my organization has collected about suspicious charity activities.
    • I pull up an unstructured report that has been collected on suspicious charity activities in a particular location.
    • There are a number of hyperlinks – or tags −in the document, and each one is associated with a data object.
    • These tags can be entities or properties, such as people, places, phone numbers, events, and so on, that enable analysts to collect and analyze information.
    • I want to explore the information visually by adding it to the graph.
    • The graph is the primary workspace in the application: it allows me to visually explore and navigate relationships I might be interested in.
    • Here, I can visualize and analyze the data more clearly.
    • In one central location, I can see all of the information that has been collected about a subject across all data sources.
    • I can also use the application to discover new information.
    • For example, I can find out more about the persons of interest who were identified in the document I saw earlier.
    • I can use the search-around functionality to ask both broad and deep questions about the connections in the data.
    • And, I can visualize and analyze all of the information that has been collected about these individuals.
    • It might be difficult to understand this much information at a glance, so the application provides features to help me analyze the data, including the histogram, the flows helper, and the time line.
    • The histogram provides statistical information about the data on the graph,
    • the flows helper provides a visual that shows transactions between two elements, such as payments or phone calls, and
    • the time line allows me to analyze the information chronologically.
    • For additional analysis, I can view this information on a map so I can track the activities of the persons I’m interested in geospatially.
