    • SAP Enterprise Learning: meeting all your training needs. SAP Enterprise Learning delivers a comprehensive learning solution, including tools for structuring content and developing tests. This demonstration shows how SAP Enterprise Learning meets the training needs of a chief learning officer, a training administrator, an instructor, a learner, and a manager. Enabling you to develop a highly trained workforce and maintain your competitive advantage. Kirsten Bell is a chief learning officer. She uses her SAP Enterprise Learning dashboard to view training noncompliance incidents and be sure employees have the training and competencies required to do their jobs. The highest number of incidents occur in the Northeast region, so Kirsten drills down for more details. She can easily see when certifications are expiring or are about to expire. She sees that the highest number of expirations are for a course titled Preventing Trips, Slips, and Falls. She also views a list of which employees need to be re-certified. Kirsten then asks a training administrator to provide immediate training on Preventing Slips, Trips, and Falls and to ensure that the right employees are trained. Paul Frazer is a training administrator. The chief learning officer has asked him to create a session for Preventing Slips, Trips, and Falls in the course catalog. Paul can set up course prerequisites and manager approvals. He can also assign materials and instructors as needed. Ken Hudson is a training instructor. He uses SAP Enterprise Learning to view all tasks for which he's responsible, such as managing virtual learning rooms, managing learner participation, and following up on learners who have participated. Ken needs to add a participant to an employee development course. An easy-to-use wizard guides Ken through the process. He can easily locate the right employee and add her to the course. If the course is full, he can cancel or replace another participant, if appropriate. Ken sees that his virtual leaning session for Preventing Slips, Trips, and Falls is about to start. He launches the course, which is powered by the SAP Acrobat Connect Professional Learning application by Adobe. In the virtual learning session, Ken can take advantage of collaboration features in SAP Acrobat Connect Professional Learning. For example, he can share course materials with participants, who can download them to their PCs. He can also ask participants to collaborate by responding to poll questions and providing input on a virtual whiteboard. At the end of the session, Ken gives the participants a brief quiz to ensure they understood the materials. Mario Diaz is a new hire. He uses SAP Enterprise Learning to view courses required for his role. Today he's exploring the new-hire curriculum. He can easily select the courses on the dates that best fit his schedule. With just a single click, he can book all the courses he needs. Next, Mario can view qualifications required for his job, and see when they'll expire. He can also do a skills-gap analysis to be sure he has the competencies he needs to perform his job. The software makes it easy for him to keep his certifications up-to-date. Diane Miller is a manager. She can use her personalized manager portal to approve employee requests, such as training requests. Today she wants to review her entire team's training activities.
