How long does a benchmarking assessment typically take?

The abbreviated surveys take between one to two hours, up to one to two days to complete, depending on availability of the information. The comprehensive surveys generally take a few days because the information often has to be collected from several stakeholders. After SAP receives your submission, we conduct a data validation process and then prepare a draft report to review with you. You will receive your performance assessment report two to three weeks after you submit your information. See a detailed engagement process description (PDF).

What will I receive in return for my participation?

By participating in a benchmarking survey, you will learn how the key performance indicators (KPIs) of your organization's processes and systems compare with best-in-class KPIs and how they are enabled by process and technology best practices. In addition, you will also benefit from:

How can I ensure my information will not be shared with other competitors?

The results of benchmarking are confidential. We only share organization-specific survey responses and the resulting analysis with the persons who submit the data. We will not share the data with other people in your organization or other groups within SAP without the prior consent of the persons who submitted the data.
