  • New: HR050 now available – The new HR050 for collection 92 is now available and a first teach is scheduled for December 14 , 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. This new course includes enhancement pack 4 changes for release 6.0. In addition, a portal is now assigned to this class for demonstrating the ABAP WebDynpro functionality for portal scenarios. The course continues to demonstrate core functionality through the SAP software GUI such as organizational management; personnel administration; benefits administration; time administration; payroll; personnel development; training and event management; and reporting. New integrated portal-based scenarios and exercises are included for e-recruitment; learning solutions; performance management; talent management; employee self services; enterprise compensation management; manager self services; and personnel administration in the portal.
  • WNATE: Advanced Time Reporting – Are you in need of clarity relating to time reporting? If so, try the brand new three-day WNATE workshop. This workshop is designed to maximize your use of standard time evaluation functionality; show you how to customize the time evaluation schema and include customer specific rules; work with the debugger troubleshoot issues; optimize time evaluation processes; and read/understand custom rules. SAP Education is currently accepting registrations for the virtual offering scheduled on December 16 - 18, 2009.
  • WNANWS: SAP Advanced Security Workshop – As a service to existing customers who have asked for wider depth and breadth of SAP Security Concepts and Implementation services topics, SAP Education is pleased to announce the new three-day WNANWS course. This workshop will cover all aspects of SAP NetWeaver technology platform security including ABAP security, Java security, Web services security, and security in other NW components like BW and portals. In addition, the workshop will include a review of key industry security standards and provide tips to both new and installed base customer implementations.
  • WNAALV: ABAP List Viewer Workshop – In order for customers to better understand the new ABAP ALV OM model introduced in NW2004s, the two-day virtual WNAALV workshop has been created and is ready to teach. The ABAP engineering team has developed a new ALV OM model that is intended to replace the older CL_GUI_ALV_GRID class which was introduced in version 4.6. SAP suggests that customers start using this new model instead of the standard ABAP lists or the traditional ALV grid enjoy control for customer specific developments. This workshop will help customers understand why their custom developed GUIs are different from the SAP developed GUIs and as a result, customer developers will be able to develop GUIs that adhere to the SAP developed standards.
  • WNABHR: BW for HCM Workshop – The new three-day WNABHR workshop is designed to enable our customers to understand the power of business intelligence (BI) reporting for human resources. This workshop is available for both new and install base customers, and includes a review of the process behind the loading of an InfoCube (we will build the environment prior to class). The main focus of this workshop will be to demonstrate the flexibility of using BI to report on HR information. Participants will also be instructed on how to find and load InfoCubes that are delivered ‘out of the box' by SAP.
  • Complement your program and project management skills – With SAP Education's new value management fundamentals course. The VM100 course for value management will help you to realize the maximum out of your investments. You'll learn how to manage a project not only in time and budget but also in value. The course will introduce SAP's value management methodology and explains the critical phases and processes to maximize the return for investment. VM100 is designed for individuals who will support the adoption of value disciplines in their organization. These individuals are typically from IT or business organizations, and have responsibilities for business/IT strategy alignment, business case development, performance management, process/solution strategy, and organizational change management. Understand how to build an ironclad business case, and how to realize the value and improve the impact of SAP.   • Introducing BO100: SAP BusinessObjects Integration Kit for SAP NetWeaver BW Course BO100 is the newest course in the business intelligence (BI) curriculum and the first to explore the details of the integration kit for BW. This five-day instructor-led course, delivered in both classroom-based and virtual live classroom versions, is designed to give you the comprehensive skills and in-depth knowledge needed to integrate SAP BusinessObjects portfolio (SBOP) reporting tools with SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) component. During this course, you will learn to set up the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio integration kit to enable reporting with SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence (BI) solutions on data from SAP components, SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) and the SAP ERP application. You will use SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence) software on SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW), create OLAP universes on SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW), define analyses on SAP ERP and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) with the Crystal Reports family of offerings, and learn how to use SAP BusinessObjects Voyager software and Xcelsius software with SAP NetWeaver BW. In addition, you will explore security aspects, connectivity troubleshooting, and integration into the enterprise portal. After taking this course, you will be able to efficiently and effectively manage the integration of SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence solutions with SAP NetWeaver BW and SAP ERP and design your own reports and analyses.
