Our Company
SAP Africa, subsidiary of SAP AG began business operations in 1982 headquartered in Woodmead - Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, South Africa. SAP Africa market unit has approximately 400 employees in total which includes the key four hub offices. To date SAP Africa has offices in Southern African Development Community (SADC), East Africa, West Africa, French speaking Africa.
In 1992 SAP AG purchased Sapient Systems and SAP Southern Africa, the first wholly owned Subsidiary of SAP was established in South Africa. This led to more successes in 1996 when the first customer outside of South Africa was established on the African Continent. This resulted in more demand from the East African region hence the official opening of SAP offices in Kenya in 1998 followed by Nigeria in 2005. To date SAP is the market leader for providing world class unified solutions, flexible technology that helps organisations excel, improve business performances while maximizing public value and getting the most out of their ICT investments.
