Technology Can Help Embattled Retailers Turn Adversity Into Opportunity in Tough Economy

SAP NEWSBYTE - September 24, 2009 - As the challenge of the global economy reaches a magnitude not seen in more than 70 years, retailers, at the forefront of reduced consumer spending, are the first to feel the brunt of any significant decline. Read more about this topic in “Technology can help embattled retailers turn adversity into opportunity in tough economy.” In the article, Verlin Youd, senior vice president of Global Trade Sector for SAP AG, discusses how investing today in a more focused and strategic way on technology can help retailers weather the economic storm.
