SAP NEWSBYTE - November 12, 2009 - Manufacturing Insights, an IDC company, has recognized the effective, integrated capabilities of SAP® software in its report titled “Best Practices: Management of Chargeback Claims in Wholesaling.” As an independent third-party analyst firm, Manufacturing Insights provides research, benchmarks, best practices, and business cases analyzing how information technology can improve manufacturing processes.
The recent report on chargeback claims in wholesaling looks at the role this critical process plays in the wholesale industry and the extent to which business processes can make the difference between profit and loss. Manufacturing Insights offers a deep dive into the various challenges currently facing wholesalers, as well as best practices employed by companies in the various wholesale segments.
In the report, Simon Ellis, practice director, Supply Chain Strategies, IDC Manufacturing Insights, mentions several vendors in this space and specifically notes, “SAP does appear to have notable capability in the enterprise-wide chargeback management space and an extensive résumé of customer implementations and successes.”
