SAP® World Tour in Hungary Awarded a “Green Festival” from the Ministry of Environment and Water
SAP NEWSBYTE - October 01, 2009 - The SAP® World Tour event in Hungary was awarded a “Green Festival” title from the Ministry of Environment and Water. The event, held in Siófok at Lake Balaton from September 13-15, 2009, adhered to the strict recommendations for environmental protection issued by the ministry. This is the first time since the launch of the “Green Festival” initiative that a business-to-business conference has earned this honored title. Until now, only large music or cultural festivals have received such an award.
The SAP World Tour is being held in more than 70 cities across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America, and has attracted more than 31,000 attendees to date. The events give customers around the globe a place to convene with peers and SAP to experience the benefits of business networks and learn firsthand the advantages of operating transparently in today’s economic downturn.
