SAP World Tour 2010 is a series of events that take place in several locations around the world. From Chicago, Illinois, to Shanghai, China; from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Paris, France; from Dubai, UAE, to Stockholm, Sweden, the events of SAP World Tour 2010 bring to attendees the best of SAP. Set in the language of the host city, and without the need for long-distance travel, attendees can explore the entire SAP ecosystem (SAP experts, partners, analysts, and more) through unparalleled networking opportunities, thought leadership keynotes, and focused presentations and demonstrations in innovative formats.

In 2009 more than 85 events were part of the SAP World Tour. More than 66,000 delegates attended the events. This represents a 30% increase in attendance from 2008, showing the momentum and acceptance of the format: In times of economic uncertainty, you can access firsthand information from SAP and partners and enjoy SAPPHIRE conference – like networking opportunities, without the burden of heavy travel.

This makes the SAP World Tour the cost-effective event option for SAP customers and the business community in general. For SAP partners and sponsors, the SAP World Tour helps to invest marketing budgets for a high return. Partners and sponsors gain business opportunities, qualified leads, and marketing contacts, in both mature markets and emerging countries.
