At the local level, SAP allocates funds to specific projects and programs that fit within our targeted areas of interest. Grants to local charitable organizations are managed by community involvement committees, groups of interested SAP employees who meet to consider the prevalent issues and needs of the local communities in which SAP operates.
The overwhelming majority of grants are initiated by SAP, are not the result of an unsolicited proposal, and involve multiyear commitments. In most cases, follow-on grants provide continued support after the initial grants are completed.
SAP's community involvement committees manage local charitable commitments for the following locations:
- Atlanta, GA
- Boston, MA
- Chicago, IL
- Dallas, TX
- Houston, TX
- New York, NY
- Philadelphia, PA
- Bay Area, CA
- Washington, DC
- Miami, FL
Unsolicited Requests
While not encouraged, unsolicited grant proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis. If your organization chooses to submit an unsolicited proposal, please review the guidelines and application process.
